Let’s use agentic coding (e.g. Claude, Antigravity, CODEX) to create pipelines for IOOS model forecast data to construct virtual and native Icechunks on object storage, develop xpublish-based services (OPeNDAP, WMS, OGC Tiles), and finally user-facing web apps that consume data directly from icechunk, OGC services and ERDDAP.

Expected Outcomes

  • Increased understanding of agentic coding, virtualizarr, icechunk and xpublish.
  • Cool notebooks and user-facing web apps that demonstrate the power, performance of this approach.
